La Parada

This is an original scene I made in Unreal Engine using Maya, Substance Designer & Painter and Speed Tree.
The point of this project is to work on Stylized assets as my usual art style tends to lean to the more realistic side, I based the style off of Valorant. I based this scene off a restaurant in Puerto Rico called La Estación. This was also my first time using Speed Tree, I was able to quickly get a hang of the application to make custom animated trees, for both the background and beach areas.

On top of modeling and texturing this scene used a good amount of blueprinting and material editor work. For the rope lights I had to create a custom blueprint that would allow them to swing with the rope as taking as if they were affected by the wind. The water material editor graph was also very complex as it is composed of many layers, this allowed me to give the illusion of the tide going in and out leaving behind wet sand, while also producing sea foam.
